Raja Shivaji: Even After a Month, ‘Raja Shivaji’ Continues Its Record-Breaking Run; How Much Has It Earned So Far?

The box office earnings for Riteish Deshmukh’s film Raja Shivaji are still going strong. Released on May 1, the film has completed over a month in theaters. Let’s take a look at its earnings on its 33rd day of release.
Even after completing a month, Riteish Deshmukh’s film Raja Shivaji is performing exceptionally well in theaters. The movie has registered a massive collection at the box office. Based on the heroic saga of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, this film has reached the top ranks in the list of the highest-grossing Marathi films of all time. Remarkably, the film’s earnings have not stopped yet.
Even after a month, the collection momentum of Raja Shivaji shows no signs of slowing down. This can easily be gauged from its earnings on the 33rd day of its theatrical run. The film was released in theaters on May 1, 2026. According to a report by Sacnilk, the film collected approximately ₹30 lakh on its 33rd day. This figure earned by Raja Shivaji is remarkable, especially considering the limited shows and competition from other movies.
So far, the film has grossed ₹105 crore domestically, while its worldwide collection has reached a massive ₹123 crore. With this, the film has surpassed Nagraj Manjule’s Sairat, which had earned ₹110 crore worldwide.
Raja Shivaji has been directed by Riteish Deshmukh himself. The film features a stellar star-cast from both the Hindi and Marathi film industries. Alongside Riteish, actors like Genelia Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Bhagyashree, Vidya Balan, Boman Irani, Fardeen Khan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, and Jitendra Joshi have played pivotal roles in the movie.
Interestingly, five members of Riteish’s own family have acted in Raja Shivaji. Riteish and Genelia’s sons, Riaan and Rahyl, have portrayed the childhood roles of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj across different stages of his life. Acclaimed filmmaker Amole Gupte trained both of them for their very first experience in front of the camera.
