The much-anticipated Marathi film Asuravan, presented by Swapnaswaroop, has released its thrilling motion poster on social media just in time for the auspicious Diwali festival. The poster has already garnered over 1 million views and sparked widespread discussion online. Featuring a tiger-painted mask, a mysterious dense forest, and elements of tribal culture, along with evocative background music, the poster has heightened curiosity about what the film will reveal.
Talking about the film, it is written and directed by Sachin Ambat, Asuravan is a blend of ancient tribal Warli traditions and a mysterious backdrop. The face shown in the poster unsettles viewers while also intriguing many. Director Sachin Ambat shared his thoughts on the motion poster: “This is my first film, and we recently released its motion poster on social media. The response from the audience has been excellent. The poster shows a forest, which is a cursed forest known as ‘Asuravan.’ How about checking the same which was shared on the Insta handle, have a look at it as it goes viral at the moment.

At the center of this forest is a character wearing a mask. In the Warli tribal language, this mask is called ‘Devacha Song’ (God’s horn).”He further explained, “The mask worn is that of the ‘Firsatya’ god. This god guides good-hearted people lost in the forest back to the right path, while those with evil intentions are tricked and trapped inside.
Whether the ‘Firsatya’ god shows the way or deceives is something you will see in the film Asuravan. The movie will soon be released for audiences.”This poster sets the tone for a gripping story rooted in tribal mythology and suspense, promising an intriguing cinematic experience.
