Richa Agnihotri is a known dancer and actress who originally hails from Thane in Maharashtra. She comes from the simple family with her parents as – Father Vikas Agnihotri and Mother Vaishnavi Agnihotri who all run an art academy called the Tapasya Sangeet Academy that made her enter into this field. She learnt the various types of dance forms from her parents while completing her education from Kendra Vidyalaya in Thane and then went on to pursue her Bachelor of Master Studies from KJ Somaiya College based in Mumbai. Being a competent student she scored 94 percent marks in SSC and 91 percent in her HSC. She has learnt Kathak from her mother and then mastered her dancing skills from Guru Manjiri Dev.
Now, talking about her career, she entered into modeling first contesting in the local Miss Thane Contest wherein she bagged the title by winning the said local pageant. Before that she also was seen participating in the beauty contests in her own college that gave her the exposure and confidence for participating in the same. Now, talking about her career on small screen, she was first seen on the Colors Marathi dance TV show called ‘Dholkichya Talavar’ wherein she was seen impressing the audience with her incredible performances and was among the top 5 finalists as well.
She later got the chance to do South Indian TV shows that helped her bag the roles in the Kannada TV industry where she was in the dance reality show called KICK. The said TV show was judged by the known actors like Shiv Rajkumar the son of Rajkumar. She has performed in a number of dance competitions and shows, besides being worked in different TV commercials including the brand Amul. Talking about her personal life, she is still single and not willing to enter into any kind of relationship at the moment as she is focusing in her career. She has also worked in a documentary film, along with the 9x jhakaas promo advertisements for the “Asa Sasar Surekh Bai” serial.
