Renowned Marathi film director Sanjay Jadhav recently shared his unfiltered thoughts about his daughter Dhriti’s romantic relationships during an interview. Known for his protective nature as a father, his candid comments about his daughter’s dating life have sparked widespread discussion across social media platforms.
Speaking about his perspective, Jadhav expressed that he is not enthusiastic about the idea of a son-in-law or her boyfriends. He admitted that whenever Dhriti brought a boyfriend home, he felt uncomfortable with the situation. While he maintains politeness to their face, he acknowledged that he does not genuinely enjoy their presence in that romantic role.
He clarified that he has no issue hosting them as casual friends. He noted that he is happy to have them over to chat, drink, or share coffee, but made it clear that his approval as a boyfriend remains a strict no. Reflecting her strong bond with her father, Dhriti responded warmly to his protective nature, stating that she would gladly live with her father her entire life and take care of him.
