Virajas, Anay, Shweta, and Annaya are four cousins who live together as part of the Rajwade family. The Rajwade family is an old family that is traditionally inclined and is as rich and elite as their name is renowned. Against this traditional background, the four cousins harbor in their hearts secret dreams and ambitions that they want to follow. However, their grandfather, a traditionalist, has plans for the four that would put an end to their dreams. And so begins the quartet’s struggle to fight against these plans and move towards their own dreams. They must rebel against their family’s traditions and fight for what they want. But this is, after all, the family they grew up in, and it’s not so simple to fight for your dreams and beliefs.
Along the way, they establish new connections with their own parents, as they find they must each fight in one way or another for the right to follow their own chosen paths in life. However, they do so with the aim of keeping their family ties intact. And they find their parents to be important pillars of support in their journey.
The movie strives to portray the struggles and sensibilities a joint family often faces in these changing times. And it is truly a heart-warming and insightful movie that the whole family should see.
