It was a busy Friday for M Town to have three movies releasing. One of the film released this Friday is Mumbai Time which is an action film based on underworld about an educated boy who is caught in D Company for his own compulsions. The film is directed by Sushrut Bhagwat and has Umesh Kamat, Mahesh Manjrekar, Rahul Mehandale and Mrunal Dusanis in the lead roles. The film had a limited screen release which was confined to Maharashtra only targeting both the single screens and multiplexes. Thus to witness a decent opening on the first day is not often plausible for the film.
As per reports, the film managed to secure not that great figure though, yet has managed to survive in the stiff competition. The first day box office collection for Mumbai Time tolled to around 1 crores, which is still a decent amount. The first day collection had a slow start simply due to the advent of two more Marathi films releasing the same day including Marathi Tiger and Police Line. However, the word of mouth buzz for the film can help in boosting up the collection for sure. Hence one can expect a decent boost during the first weekend of the film.
