‘Tapaal – The Letter’ is an upcoming Marathi movie that has already become the hot topic of discussion among cine goers. The trailer that has been recently released has been able to hold the audience and the ratings and number of downloads itself show its increasing popularity.
This movie has been created under the banner of Maitreya Mass Media Private Ltd. and produced by Varsha Madhusudan Satpalkar. It is directed by Laxman Utekar and the story-screenplay is by Mangesh Hadavale. The star cast for Tapaal is Veena Jamkar, Nandu Madhav, Milind Gunaji, Rohit Utekar, Urmila Kanetkar, Shailesh Kadam, Ganga Gogavale, Ketaki Saraf, Umesh Jagtap, Nandu Gagdil, Shaila Kanekar, Jaywant Wadkar and others. Cinematography and dialogue is by Laxman Utekar, music by Rohit Nagbhide and Lyrics by Prakash Holkar. Choreography for Lavani has been done by Phulwa Khamkar, sound designer being Uday Inamati. Anant Bhuwad is the Executive Producer and Sanjeev Rajsingh being costume designer. The movie is distributed by Pickle Entertainment and is slated to be released on the 26th of September 2014.
The movie’s concept and story is said to be based on the emotions of one postman, who is visiting a very remote rural village. It is also of a school going boy named Rangya. Previously, there were only a very few educated individuals present in any village, who acted as teacher, postman and patwari. Hence, they were quite respected by the villagers and placed in high honor that is due to them. It does create a special bonding between the villagers and the postman, which actually makes up the movie of Tapaal.
With the official trailer out, the audience has been able to view as to what the movie is all about. The trailer is very much interesting and also moving. It does compel people in huge numbers to watch and recommend it to the others.
