The synopsis: The story of Kitti Sangaychya Mala revolves around the Desai family that values its traditions more than anything else. When Om marries Arpita, she is expected to fit in a role that demands her to give up her independence and career. Being a well educated girl, Arpita finds it difficult to live up to this expectation. But as she discovers her way into the hearts of the family members, she realizes she has to find a way to manage her work and family. She goes a head to find the balance and her husband helps her too.
The grandmother of the family has a hard time accepting the fact that the daughter in law is a working woman with a modern outlook towards life. Actress Nupur Parlekar beautifully portrays the character of Arpita Patkar.
