The film was produced under the banner ‘ManglMurti Films’ and it is again geared up to recreate the magic on the big screen. The shooting for their next venture is likely to begin from July, as per the information revealed by the sources.
Daagdi Chaawl which was released on 2nd October, 2015 had a background of 1996. An interesting background of Mumbai during 1996 was beautifully captured in the film. A different angle of the city where it is trapped in the web of gangs and the gang-wars along with a love story blooming between all the havoc was very neatly presented in front of the audiences. And it was equally well appreciated by one and all. Daagdi Chaawl and all the characters of the movie still occupy a special place in the hearts and minds of the viewers. While Daddy and Surya top the list. Now, everyone is eager to see the sequel of the film ‘Daagdi Chaawl’.
Mangalmurti Films is starting with a new project, is it the same film? Or are we going to see a new gang war? Is ‘Mangalmurti films’ planning to try comedy this time? Makarand Deshpande, Ankush Chaudhary, Chandrakant Kanse – will the hit formula of this trio continue in its next? And much more questions have already filled up our minds.
