26/11 Terror Attack: Actor Remembers Martyr Tukaram Omble Amid ‘Day 1 as Spy in Pakistan’ Trend

The ongoing social media trend ‘Day 1 as Spy in Pakistan,’ inspired by the film Dhurandhar, has seen many viral videos flooding platforms. While the trend showcases fictional characters, social media influencer Ankita Valavalkar expressed her frustration over it. Actor Ayush Salunke took this moment to pay tribute to the real hero of the 26/11 terror attacks, Tukaram Omble, who bravely captured terrorist Ajmal Kasab alive.

In a poignant video shared by Ayush Sanjeev, when asked, “Naam kya hai…” Ayush responded by naming Tukaram Omble without mentioning himself, emphasizing the need to remember true heroes. He said, “Tukaram Omble… You heard the name, right? As this trend gains momentum, it’s important we don’t forget our real heroes while celebrating fictional ones like Hamza Ali Mazari.”Reflecting on Omble’s bravery, Ayush said, “Tukaram Omble is our real hero — the Mavala of Maharashtra. Armed with just a stick, he faced bullets to the chest and stomach, yet Kasab didn’t spare him.”

He lamented how the world widely recognizes Ajmal Kasab’s name, but very few remember Tukaram Omble. “That’s why I want to say, Tukaram Omble Saheb, your valour and name will never be forgotten. Jai Hind… Jai Maharashtra,” Ayush declared passionately.Captioning his video, Ayush wrote, Naam Bhulana Nahi (We must not forget the name). His heartfelt tribute has gone viral on social media, earning appreciation and support from fans and followers, who praised him for honoring the courage and sacrifice of Tukaram Omble.
