Soundarya Sharma is an actress and model who hails from Delhi. She was born on 20 September 1994 in Delhi and was raised at this place only. She did her schooling and college from Delhi and completed her Bachelor of Dental studies from the National Capital. She even pursued her residency opportunities in a few hospitals based in New Delhi. While doing her internship and work, she got the opportunity to give auditions for few films in Mumbai. This laid the foundation to pursue the career of acting.
She then got her formal training at one of the known theatre groups called ACT 1 and later went to get admission in NSD. She graduated in acting and filmmaking along with getting trained in classical music. She loves to play guitar and started doing theatre. She also attended a few workshops at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and New York Film Academy. Talking about her debut in films, she got her first movie as Ranchi Diaries, which was produced by Anupam Kher.
It was released in 2017 and she bagged the ‘Best Female Debutant’ by Zee Cine Awards along with other platforms like Star Screen Awards. She even bagged the same award at the Jharkhand International Film Festival. She also got her debut in a web series called Rashbhari. She was then seen in the leading role in the DC Superhero film Wonder Woman 1984 with Pedro Pascal and Gal Gadot. Besides being an actress, she has also launched her own production banner called Mustard and Red.
She has been a popular face in the media as well. She has bagged the Lokmat Most Stylish Diva Award in 2018. She has even remained part of Times Music exclusive release titled ‘Garmi Mein Chill’. She has performed in several award functions including the IIFA awards and has been the part of the green carpet event in Mumbai. Talking about her personal life, she is single and not dating anyone.
