Actress Rinku Rajguru’s much-discussed and eagerly awaited film Asha is all set to release soon. The teaser for the film has just been unveiled, along with the announcement of its release date. In this film, Rinku portrays the role of an Asha worker.The teaser for Asha, featuring the impactful tagline, “She got into trouble because she stood up,” has recently been released. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 19.
Even before its release, Asha has proven its strength by winning four awards at the 61st Maharashtra State Marathi Film Awards, earning critical acclaim and increasing audience anticipation.Asha sensitively portrays the challenging world of women—their confidence and sense of responsibility toward society. At the heart of the story is an Asha worker, a role brought to life by Rinku Rajguru.
Alongside Rinku, the film features significant performances by Sayankit Kamat, Usha Naik, Shubhangi Bhujbal, Suhas Shirsat, Disha Dande, Dilip Ghare, and Harsha Gupte. The character of Asha, played by Rinku, is not just an employee in the healthcare system but a guide, support, and fearless voice for every woman and every family. Her eyes reveal struggle, her footsteps carry responsibility, and her strength shines through as she faces challenges without giving up—making this role the film’s main attraction.
