Two Marathi Films Shine at Zee ChitraGaurav Awards 2026; Audience Praises Their Triumph

The recently held Zee ChitraGaurav Awards 2026 saw two Marathi films making a remarkable impact, winning multiple accolades across categories and winning the hearts of both audiences and critics alike. Recognized as one of Marathi cinema’s most prestigious events, this year’s ceremony celebrated the theme “Marathi Must Shine,” beautifully blending Marathi culture, tradition, and modernity.

The event echoed with pride for Marathi art and honored outstanding contributions to the industry over the past year.Among the winners, Dilip Prabhavalkar’s Dashavatar received the Blockbuster Cinema of the Year award, while Bharat Jadhav and Siddharth Jadhav’s Aba Thambacha Nai clinched the Best Film award. Both films shared the limelight as their lead actors—Dilip Prabhavalkar and Bharat Jadhav—were jointly honored with the Best Actor award. Dashavatar secured three awards, and Aba Thambacha Nai took home four.
