TVF Debuts in Marathi Cinema with Supernatural Comedy Bayangi: Palaychi Nahi, Talaychi

The Viral Fever (TVF) has officially announced its entry into Marathi cinema with its debut feature film, Bayangi: Palaychi Nahi, Talaychi. Announced on August 8, 2026, the project is a supernatural comedy thriller inspired by a unique piece of Maharashtrian folklore.

Set in the scenic Konkan region, the plot revolves around the legend of the Bayangi a spirit trapped inside a coconut that is believed to bring immense wealth to whoever possesses it. The narrative follows four bachelors who unexpectedly come across the spirit and think they have secured a shortcut to a life of luxury. However, their excitement turns to dread when they discover that every granted wish comes with a terrifying cost, turning their fortune into a dangerous situation.

The film is produced by TVF Motion Pictures and directed by Abhay Raut, who previously helmed Gullak Season 5. Popular actor Amey Wagh stars in the lead role, joined by Hardeek Joshi, Manmeet Pem, and Avinash Khedekar in key supporting roles.
