Rinku Rajguru’s New Film Asha: The Woman Who’s “Stuck” and Ready to Break Free

Actress Rinku Rajguru has quickly won hearts since her breakthrough role as ‘Archie’ in the 2016 Marathi blockbuster Sairat. Over the years, she has showcased her versatile acting skills across Marathi cinema, Hindi films, and web series, gaining widespread acclaim. Now, fans have another reason to celebrate as Rinku’s much-anticipated film Asha is slated for release in December 2025, with the first poster recently unveiled.In Asha, Rinku portrays an ASHA worker, embodying the spirit of countless women serving communities across India.

Directed by Deepak Patil, the poster features Rinku dressed in a simple blue saree, wearing a mangalsutra and an Asha Sevika identity card—symbolizing her character’s grounded, everyday courage. Another striking image shows her confidently riding a bicycle, capturing the determination at the heart of the film’s story.The cast includes notable names such as Disha Dande (famous for Disha Dande), Saikit Kamat from the serial Savlyachi Shadow, and veteran actress Usha Naik. Other supporting actors include Shubhangi Bhujbal, Suhas Shirsat, Dilip Ghare, Harsha Gupte, Rupesh Khare, Rajan Pawar, and Bhumika Desle. The film’s tagline, “Bai Adalye Ti Nadalye!” (“The woman who’s stuck, that’s why she’s stuck!”), hints at a powerful narrative around struggle and resilience.
While the exact release date remains unannounced, Asha is expected to hit screens by the end of the year. Celebrities such as Lalit Prabhakar, Shantanu Maheshwari, Amruta Khanvilkar, and Namrata Sambherao have already extended their best wishes, and fans are eagerly awaiting the film.On the work front, Rinku was recently seen in Better-Half’s Love Story alongside Prarthana Behere and Subodh Bhave.
