The film Balak Palak, directed by Ravi Jadhav and released in 2013, won hearts with its bold take on sex education. It not only performed well at the box office but also received critical acclaim for its sensitive portrayal of the topic. Do you recall the girl who played Dolly in the film? Shashwati Pimplikar brought the character to life when she was just a ninth grader.
Well, talking about this talented actress, she was born on November 16, 1996, in Pune, Maharashtra, Shashwati grew up in Pune and began acting at an early age. In seventh grade, she performed in the play Raigadala Jevha Jaag Yete, and by eighth grade, she appeared as a child artist in the TV serial Bandh Reshmache.While working on the serial, Shashwati was offered a role in Balak Palak.
After a screen test, she was immediately selected to play Dolly, making it her debut film role. Her portrayal left a lasting impression on audiences.Today, Shashwati is married to Rajendra Karmarkar and continues her acting journey with a role in the serial Pinga Ga Pori Pinga.
