Her father, Dr. Mitra Basu Chhillar, is a distinguished physician and scientist associated with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), while her mother, Dr. Neelam Chhillar, is a respected medical doctor serving as the departmental head of neurochemistry at the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences.
Educationally, Manushi received her schooling at St. Thomas’ School in New Delhi, where she demonstrated her academic excellence by securing the top spot nationwide in the CBSE English subject during her class 12 examinations, scoring an impressive 96 percent.
