Catch Marathi film Nude’s teaser it is all about Covering body and not soul

Since the M Town film Nude was dropped from the list of International Film Festival in 2017, we now see the teaser of the film released in the media. Ironically the film was dropped from the final list by the Information and Broadcasting ministry despite being approved by the jury, which has made Sujoy Ghosh to resign from the IFFI for this decision. It’s sad to see which India are we living wherein creativity is killed by the fanatic groups headed by Smriti Irani who happens to be the part of this very industry. Nevertheless, losing the film from the list may not hamper the message that it gives in the media.

Now, let’s talk the teaser of the film directed by Ravi Jadhav. It is made on the backdrop of a village which is peaceful and have their own senses. Soon we get to see some speechless confrontation between the lady and a man and next we see the lady in the popular school of Arts called JJ School in Bombay wherein the lady is seen cleaning and scrubbing the floor. She checks the people around as what they are doing and then the timeless dialogues from the veteran B Town actor – Naseeruddin Shah who says, we need clothes to cover the body not the soul and that he tries to find that very soul in his work.

The film Nude can make you a bit uncomfortable, but it is certianly not that bad. That’s the message, one can infer from the released teaser of the said film. The movie Nude has been directed by Ravi Jadhav, whcih has been applauded for its rich content and was picked by the International Film Festival of India (IFFI 2017) in Goa, but ironically it was removed by the I&B Ministry for their own reasons leading to the mess in the group.
