Shreyas was a part of the popular Marathi TVserial Damini. The serial was his first major break after which he went on to do many stage dramas that established him as a professional actor. Shreyas’s keen learning and perseverance brought him many character roles and with the ease of a true performer he came out as an impressive young actor. He excelled in all shades of acting be it comedy or serious. Though a film like Iqbal gave him a role of high potential but later on Shreyas went on do many comic roles including the series of Golmal. Shreyas is popular among the Hindi and Marathi audience for his simplistic portrayal of characters and for his impactful performances like that of Iqbal , a deaf and dumb boy who struggles his way to the Indian cricket team. In the film, he shared screen space with the veteran actor Nazzuruddin Shah and the film also fetched him nominations and awards.
