Featuring Ashok Shinde, Rajsi Bhave, Shailesh Datar, and Nandita Patkar, this Marathi film delves deep into the mysteries hidden behind human masks—both literal and metaphorical.Every face in the film wears a mask, concealing a spectrum of emotions—joy, sorrow, and countless secrets that remain unseen.
When the true identity behind these masks is finally revealed, it leaves the audience stunned. Case No. 73 promises just such a baffling and gripping story.Produced by Lilac Motion Pictures and Dusk Studios, the film is set for release this January. Directed by Dr. Milind Mukteshwar Apte and co-produced by Sharvari Satish Vattak and Pravin Arun Khangar, the film’s ensemble cast also includes Piyush Apte.Each scene peels back a layer of mystery, with every answer raising even more questions.

Director Dr. Apte explains, “This is not just a suspense thriller but a narrative that challenges the viewer’s thinking. Each audience member will discover their own truth within the story.” Producer Sharvari Satish Vattak adds, “Our goal is to elevate the standard of mystery films in Marathi cinema. Case No. 73 will offer audiences a unique cinematic experience.”The screenplay is crafted by Dr. Richa and Amit Yenurkar, with lyrics by Mandar Cholkar.
Amey Mohan Kadu composed the music and background score, while Ninad Gosavi handled cinematography.Packed with mystery, thrills, and unexpected twists, Case No. 73 poses a compelling question: Whose mask will you dare to remove?
