Krantijyoti Vidyalaya Nears Record as 5th Highest Grossing Marathi Film Post-Covid, Just Rs 61 Lakh Short

Released on the first day of 2026, the Marathi film Krantijyoti Vidyalaya is making waves at the box office despite stiff competition from Bollywood releases. Made on a modest budget of around Rs 6.5 crore, the film has held strong in theaters, drawing steady audiences even in its fourth week.Featuring a talented ensemble cast including Sachin Khedekar, Amey Wagh, Siddharth Chandekar, Prajakta Koli, Kshiti Jog, Kadambari Kadam, and Harish Dudhade, the movie is now just Rs 61 lakh away from surpassing the box office collection of Dilip Prabhavalkar’s Dashavatar.
