John Abraham ventures in M Town his debut comes with ‘Savita Damodar Paranjpe’

We have known John Abraham to have traversed a long way before becoming an established actor in B Town. From Media planner to a model and then an established actor. He is more known for his action films including Force, Force 2, Parmanu, Madras Cafe and the list goes. He has also embarked upon with his production house that has brought films like ‘Vicky Donor’ & ‘Rocky Handsome’ in the B Town. Now with a couple of movies in his kitty, he had his interest in Marathi Cinema and wanted to enter into the industry as a producer and there he is coming up with his first Marathi production film called ‘Savita Damodar Paranjape’.

This film is based on a known Marathi play with the same title that was released in the eighties. It was directed by Shekhar Tamhane and has Reema Lagoo and Rajan Tamhane in the lead role, with the star cast and his involvement, the play has raised quite a few eyebrows as well but things settled soon. To give the same impact of the play in the said movie, the makers are now considering the star cast who can do justice to the roles and create the same effect as seen by the play.

The film will be presented by J. A. Entertainment and Panorama Studios, and it will be produced by John Abraham and the director of the movie is Swapna Waghmare. The makers are trying to rope in Subodh Bhave in the lead role for the said movie though nothing has been officially confirmed. Besides, this man, we also have stars like Trupti Toradmal and Rakesh Bapat in the lead roles. Shirish Latkar is the man who has written the story of the film and the music is composed by Nilesh Mohrir and Amit Raj who would be doing the music for this film. The film ‘Savita Damodar Paranjape’ is set to hit the screens on August the 31st.
