The upcoming Marathi movie Ghanta will see the veteran singer singing a ghazal. The title of the song is Unbreakable. This break up song of the new age has been written by Abhishek Khankar and the music is composed by Samir Saptiskar and not to forget, the surreal voice of Hariharan. The lyrics of the song is in Hindi, though the song is for a Marathi movie. Lyricist Abhishek Khankar says that the choice of Hindi as the language was done to appeal to a larger audience, all over India. The movie is directed by Shailesh Kale.
Recently, the veteran singer expressed how catchy the lyrics were and to let the focus remain on the lyrics he has sung it in a casual tone. He adds that catchy lyrics and casual manner gel well together, and the renowned singer is pretty confident that the song will be an instant hit with the young audience of today. Music composer Samir says that while composing the song, he could not think of a suitable voice than that of the veteran singer. And, though he was a bit cynical whether Hariharan will agree to do the song, but was more than happy when he agreed to lend his voice for this song.
Previously, the renowned playback singer had receive the National Award for the song Jeev Dangla from the Marathi film Jogwa.
