After Farzand and Pawankhind, the film Ranpati Shivray – Swari Agra is soon to meet audiences. Writer-director Digpal Lanjekar introduced the concept of Shri Shivraj Ashtak with the aim of powerfully conveying the glorious history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to future generations. The radiant history of the king and its vivid chapters have been brought to the silver screen under the Shivraj Ashtak concept.
Among these, five films—Farzand, Fatteshikast, Pawankhind, Sher Shivraj, and Subhedar—have already been released and received immense love and blessings from audiences.The sixth film in this ambitious series is set to release on February 19, 2026, titled Ranpati Shivray – Swari Agra. Writer-director Digpal Lanjekar announced this grand film on social media. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj defeated many powerful enemies through guerrilla warfare, intelligence, courage, and strategic planning, earning a significant place in history. One such thrilling episode is Shivaji Maharaj’s daring escape from Agra.
Produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Murlidhar Chhatwani (Panorama Studios), along with Vipul Agarwal and Jenil Parmar (Mugafi), and co-produced by Ravindra Auti (Panorama Studios) and Tansha Batra (Mugafi), Ranpati Shivray – Swari Agra will bring this exciting chapter of Shivaji’s life to the big screen.
