Sachin Kundalkar directed Vazandaar released in the theatres last Friday to a vazandaar opening. Having popular stars Sai Tamhankar and Priya Bapat in the film, the film got the high first day opening as it deserved. The opening day, the theatres recorded an occupancy rate of about 60% all over Maharsahstra. The opening day collection was 11.2 Lacks. In the metropolitan cities like Pune and Mumbai, the occupancy was even better with audience reacting favorably to the film.
The reaction of the audience and the critics was very positive about the film. Vazandaar was touted as a simple story telling narration with a feel good factor. Although the movie is sand glamour, it has a real soul to it which highlights individuality and beauty of mind in our society.
The weekend collection was even better with the box office collecting 16.56 lacks on Saturday. On Sunday the collection was around 18.13 lacks that was a decent collection for Marathi film. The total weekend collection is now 46 lacks. Considering the fact that it was a low budget film, it is a decent collection.
Vazandaar was appreciated by one and all. The highlight of the movie is the performers Sai Tamhankar and Priya Bapat who left no stone unturned to make the performances exemplary. As the movie is getting good reviews and word of mouth, it is expected to continue good business on the coming days as well.
