Ravi Dubey Confirmed as Lakshman in “Ramayana”
Actor Ravi Dubey has confirmed that he will play Lakshman in the upcoming epic film Ramayana. Speaking to Connect Cine, Ravi expressed his excitement about being part of the star-studded cast and working alongside Ranbir Kapoor, who is playing Lord Ram.
Ravi shared his gratitude for this opportunity, saying, “I am playing Lakshman in the film. I’ve now received permission from the makers to announce it. I stayed silent until now to avoid giving away any details and affecting the plans of Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari, the producer and director.”
This marks Ravi’s first collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor on the big screen. He spoke highly of Ranbir, calling him “the elder brother I never had.” Ravi praised Ranbir’s professionalism, kindness, and positive energy on set, saying, “He is warm, empathetic, and treats everyone with grace.”
Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, promises to be a visually stunning retelling of the ancient epic. With Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi reportedly playing Sita, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, the film has already generated a lot of excitement among fans.
