According to his post on X, “Sam Bahadurearned ₹3.40 crore at national chains, with PVRInox contributing ₹2.80 crore and Cinepolis adding ₹60 lacs to the total. On the other hand, sacnilk.com reported that Meghna Gulzar’s directorial debut, “Sam Bahadur,” garnered ₹5.50 crore on its first day in India. However, this figure notably falls behind the staggering ₹60 crore amassed by “Animal” on its opening day.

The box office dynamics further reveal that the Hindi version of “Sam Bahadur” recorded an overall occupancy rate of 29.18% on its debut Friday. In contrast, “Animal” achieved an impressive ₹61 crore on its release day, boasting an overall Hindi occupancy of 62.47%, according to Sacnilk.

Taran Adarsh’s social media update on X highlighted the substantial difference in the box office figures between the two films. “Regarding the film’s opening day box office earnings and audience turnout, the Hindi version of ‘Animal’ amassed more than ₹50.50 crore, with the Telugu version securing ₹10 crore,” the report stated.
