Review
The film talks about the deep interior story which happens to occur in old rural areas of our state. We still see families devoted to gods and deities while their next generation going on the wrong path. However, the film showcases repentance by the kid on the wrong path but at the same time he falls in love with a girl, which is again a taboo issue for the family who is so much committed to their religion. The makers of the film have raised some pertinent question as to how religion plays a vital role in our lives. Secondly it deals with a tangible issues, which movie makers do not often raise. In a sense it is a well chosen theme but much does it will be accepted by the audience is missing in the film.
Talking about the performances, they may not appear up to the mark but some of the actors Mangesh Desai, Anuradha Rajadhyaksha, Krutika Gaikwad and Ketan Pawar have done a good job. THe music seems okay and so is the screenplay and other elements. The direction seems par, which have helped to raise the entertainment value of the movie, however, the film being of a drama genre will fail to attract good chunk of masses in the media. So, what happens next would be interesting to catch at the box office.
Vitthala Shappath Last Word
The film is a moral science movie, which is meant to raise some important issues of life and the way religious families committed to their gods and deities react. It has no typical masala unlike any other M Town movie, which may hamper the audience as well coming to the screens.
